Denny Bros are 'along for the ride'

Denny Bros Group has supported several charities in 2011 but most recently, have been involved in a local initiative aimed at the African state of Rwanda, whose Olympic team will be based in Bury St Edmunds in 2012.

Two cyclists, Peter Goodwin and Peter White, are doing a 6000 mile sponsored ride to Rwanda to raise money for sport and education there and we have provided the specialist bikes for the trip. The cost of the two Koga bikes, totalling £6,000 has been covered by Denny Bros. Mr White, of Bury St Edmunds, said "The bikes are absolutely perfect for what we are undertaking.

They are a perfect mix of comfort, speed, reliability and practicality. Everything about them has been thought through to provide a simple, robust bicycle that will not let us down. We are absolutely thrilled that an international company based in Bury St Edmunds such as Denny Bros is able to support us" Barry Denny, Managing Director said "We are very pleased to be supporting the Go Rwanda appeal by providing bikes for the two Peters. As a company, we like to help good causes and this one combines raising money for the development of facilities in Rwanda with the promotion of sport in general, with the Olympic connection and cycling in particular"
